Marriott.com - what would you like it to do for you?

Just curious about your thoughts on the marriott.com website. What kind of functionality, choices do you feel are lacking? Comparibly, I think they have a very clean interface and easy search options. ^

1. Ability to book under one confirmtion # a continuous stay that would include paid nights as well as nights that would be covered by MR Award points.

2. A substantial increase in the character limit of the "Additional Comments" (or whatever it's called) field. (It would preclude the user having to "invent" abbreviations that the hotel might not comprehend.)

3. Properties' email addresses should be included as are their addresses and phone numbers on their main pages.

When I enter a corporate code, it will not include hotels in the search where that corporate rate is not available, even if the hotel is cheaper than the corporate rates at other hotels. I wish it would show the standard rate for rooms when this happens, rather than excluding from the results listings.

1. Menus at full service properties, including room service menu.
2. Driving directions that also include "from" rather than just "to".
3. Concierge lounge hours and days open.
4. A property chart that shows the location of various classes of rooms.
5. Property e-mail address for various departments.

This certainly would be good....as would be the next poster's suggestion concerning comparisons of corporate and other special rates that would include both hotels offering and not offering the rate being searched.

This could be a "win" for Marriott as well. Those of us with caps on our per diem hotel expenses might more easily opt for an alternate Marriott property that would fit into the budget.

The ability to store comments in my profile, and not have to retype them for each reservation.
