If it says so in the rate rules then you do. If it doesn't say so in the rate rules then you don't.

Welcome to FT Tim and greetings from Canada
I have used the XML code many times over the last 2 years with never a request for ID.
Also, many FT members have also reported not having a problem either.
I would not hesitate to use it in the future.

Just what IS "Leisure Links".
I'm wondering if Premium Pounds can be used in conjunction with this. I know the rule is "no", but does anyone have personal experience?

Allowed to book for 1 night whenthe T&Cs state 2 nights
My question doesnt pretain to Leisure Links itself, But to any code that one can make a res with that they have a right to use.
In my case its not LL but the code I can use allows me to make a res for a Thurs night at a very very cheap rate. The T&Cs on the res states that a Thurs night stay requires a Fri night stay along with it.
I booked and made a res for a Thurs night w/o EVER putting down that I would be staying a Fri night as well, got a confirmation code for my 1 Thurs night stay. Yet the T&Cs state that a Fri night is required , as it does with the LL code.
Should I run into any probs, Im a Plat, or keep it as is and fall back on if a 2 night res had to be made for that rate and code then it should Never have made the booking, or will it be enough that since the Confirmation states a Thurs night requires a Fri night they will be able to up my rate to the reg rate.
Has anyone made ares for a LLfor 1 night and had it honored although it states it had to be 2 nights yet it was confirmed for just 1 night?

[QUOTE=imverge;6924762]I have used it even though it states ID required. Any code you enter when making a reservation will result in ID required on the booking page.QUOTE]
This must be something new. I have used XML several times in the past, and the rate rules have not stated that ID was required.

Any code you enter when making a reservation may require you to present ID. I believe the reservations system just defaults that ID message on every reservation. But I have never been asked.
