I originally purchased $2100 worth of cards on November 30 - after three phone calls to Marriott, the points finally posted last night along with a 2,100 point "Good Will Adjustment". I'm not sure if they added another 2,100 points to make up for the hassle, or if the two are unrelated. But I have no idea why else I would get the Good Will Adjustment, as I have not complained about anything else in recent times.
In any event, with the good will points, I ended up with 13 points per dollar, so I'm not complaining. |
I bought my gift cards at the very end of December, and 25,000 points were posted to my account on 7th March. I have not chased Marriott, so in my case the system did work.
