Arrow Marriott Rewards Mall points

Has anyone had problems with points being posted for purchases at participating merchants at the Marriott Rewards Mall?
I used the Marriott Rewards Mall link when I purchased from Office Depot once and it worked well.
I have made some purchases from Kohl's and Buy.com and wondering if anyone has hit any snags there.
If anyone has had problems, what has been the workaround?

I used them a couple of times and got no points and therefore, no longer use them as there are many, many options and it is not worth my time chasing down those points when the other portals work so well.

I agree-the Marriott Mall posting is unreliable-I mainly use AA's portal-although it is not my preferred carrier, shopping keeps the miles coming in,and along with E-rewards and Opinion Place,I've just reached enough for a reward ticket.AA also sends emails when the points post-makes keeping track much easier.

I use the MR mall a lot!I have channeled over $10,000 through them and have not had to contact customer service once.
Yes the points are sometimes slow to post-but mine have all shown up eventually.
Very happy with the # of points per merchant-some are double what the same merchants offer on the airline sites(which I also use when there is a promo on them-such as the upcoming NWA mall promo)I would welcome some better promos on the MR mall, but I guess it all works out.

Twice I have not received credit from Kohls. Both times the CSR tried to tell me that I didn't click through properly. I sent an e-mail asking them if Kohls EVER posted points but she didn't answer. I also offered to have HER click through and buy something with my credit card to prove the points weren't posting, but she refused.

Last year I missed out on Marriott's Holiday Shopping bonus because Kohls points didn't post. I have a Kohls up the street from me and paid for shipping on hundreds of dollars worth of clothes BECAUSE of the promo.

Since January, I've used a spreadsheet to keep track of my purchases and so far Kohls is the only one that never posted.

The best vendors for posting points: iTunes (posts them almost immediately), FTD and Shutterfly. Others who posted in a timely manner include Staples, Overstock, Sports Authority and Target. Chadwicks took longer than advertised, but did eventually post.

I wish we could get other posters in here who've had bad experiences with Kohls so that we could get Marriott to force them to fix whatever the issue is. The rep told me that my points were posted to CouponMountain, which I've never heard of.

This was very useful to know, I was planning on doing a lot of holiday shopping through the MR mall for points. Thanks for posting which ones posted fast!

I did a purchase last year with Ebags.com. The points posted within 4-6 weeks.

The reliability of Rewards Mall seems very shaky.

When you complete a purchase, it won't confirm that you earned your points.

If you contact MR and ask, you eventually get the answer, "I'm sorry that purchases made through the Rewards Mall don't confirm that your earn your points. You will just have to monitor your account and see if the credit posts within 60 days."

When things do post, you find out that the description doesn't give you a way of figuring out which posting belongs to which purchase.

This is a variant of the missing stay problem. I'm not sure what it is, but Marriott Rewards seems stuck on inventing and/or participating in systems that aren't 99.99% reliable from the get-go.

The Marriott Rewards account activity does show which merchant the points posted from. Ex RETAIL MALL - BEST BUY is what shows in my account activity. This can help some to keep track of the posting of points. I have not had any trouble with Best Buy posting points. They usually post within six weeks.

My points for December purchases just posted but I didn't receive the double points as the promotion offered. Please check your points if you bought in December because this may be a system wide problem. Below is the promo I am referring to;

Double Points at the Marriott Mall

Through December 31, Membership Rewards members will earn double points at selected Marriott Rewards Mall retailers.

With the bonus, members can earn eight points per $1 spent at Target, Nordstrom, and Lands' End, six points at Overstock.com, four points at Home Depot and Staples, and two points at Apple Store, Circuit City, Dell Home, and Sony Style.
