Marriott SFO
Due to be flying out to Calgary in Feb with stopover in SFO. Normally stay at the Westin but it seems to be getting a bit dated, wonder if anyone had any info on the Marriott. Also is it worth booking the concierge level (will be there Friday night and it says lounge is closed at weekend) are the rooms much different to the bay view rooms?

I would stay there as it has one of the better lounges in the area. It also have a very good view of the bay if you can get it. Westin down the street does not have one and did not offer breakfast coupons for plats.
If you are driving, you can use off street parking during the evenings as there are plenty. Otherwise, you'll need to pay for lot parking.

I don't have any experience at the Airport Westin but I stayed at the SFO Airport Marriott last week and it was fantastic! There are a few restaurants within walking distance and a nice walking trail by the bay that runs right next to the hotel property. Additionally, if you are a plane buff like me you'll enjoy the nice view of the runways at SFO. Two enthusiastic thumbs up!
