I stayed at the Wentworth by the Sea a couple of weeks ago. This is clearly a resort location which had a lounge. Unfortunately or fortunately, the lounge was pretty slow during their peak season.
My wife sometimes complains about my insistence on staying at Marriotts (I'm usually right around 50 nights a year) but now understands since she received a free breakfast and an upgrade to the best available room, which happened to be a 2 bedroom suite with a marina view. The lounge really does make the difference.
On the other hand, from a business view, one would assume a busy lounge confirms the business need. THe Wentworth lounge was pretty slow. Didn't seem like too many Golds or Plats were staying there.
