Second Tier Dallas Properties?

I am looking for a stay in Dallas on March 14-16 using the VIP rate (for which I qualify). All of the FS Marriotts and Rens are not showing as available. Given that, what would be your next options? There are a couple of SHS available -- (Downtown/West End, Arlington/Six Flags, Fort Worth/University), many CY and quite a few FI. Any time I can save my per diem money for breakfast, that's a good thing, so I usually prefer SHS over CY. I have heard that some of the newer FI are a nice, but I can never tell which of them are new!

My only business has me at Love Field for a project on Wednesday (3/15) evening, so location is not a huge issue.

Any suggestions are well appreciated.

Thanks,
Stevekoe

I was in the SHS near Texas stadium a few months ago and it was quite nice for the 60.00 a night rate i got...easy access to all the major highways in dallas...and Love Field is right down the street...

Thumbs up Fairfield Park Central

Fairfield Park Central - Without a doubt this is the best value Marriott in Dallas mid week! Lynette the manager is outstanding - i feel like the most valued guest on each & every visit! The entire team adds to the experience & on top of that they have just finished a refurb - new beds, linens, curtains, lobby etc. I used to stay at the Market Suites or the Renaissance on I35 but the Fairfield Park Central is 1/4 to 1/2 the cost & i could not be treated better (I use the VIP rate, rightfully, too)! And last but not least the location is the icing on the cake - 75 & 635 - so central. I stay at Marriotts 250 nights a year (work & play, i admit) but i am always guaranteed a great stay with Analra, Lynette & their team.
I hope you have a great stay too, love Sarah

And, thanks, violetdog for the FI Park Central suggestion. I will look into that.

Welcome to FlyerTalk.
