Question Using Marriott Gift cards--points?

I know this might seem stupid. but I'll ask anyway. I'm staying in Aruba on points Easter week (hate those stay anytime pts., but oh well), I have to pay for one night and have a $350 Gift card that I'll use, and I also have a $100 Gift certificate. If I use these to pay for the stay and incidentals, do I still get points for the amount I use on the cards?
Thanks!

Short answer yes, long answer you will earn incidental points on the entire stay, you will earn night/stay credit for the night you paid for (even though it's on a gift card/gift certificate)

Remember to make sure that the charges appear on your hotel receipt. And, of course, keep the hotel receipt.
