Chris - Package Award/Point Saver
It is my intention to obtain a package award to include 7 nights and FF miles. If the hotel is showing a point saver award availabilty on Marriott.com for the selected 7 nights and it is booked when ordering the package, is the points required for the package similarly reduced?

Good question. As to these type of questions, you should put "Chris" or "Marriott Concierge" in your thread title. It gets his attention quicker, and he's the right one to answer it.
