Upgrade success at....
Can anyone comment on upgrade success at the Le Merigot JW in Santa Monica and a separate stay later at Ren Times Square. We'll be on points for both. Ren phone agent sounded very positive about the likelihood of an upgrade, though I must say I have my doubts in NYC.

As a Platinum at the Ren in Times Sqaure,NYC you usually get taken care of very well. Breakfast for 2 in Foley's in the lobby ( nice breakfast ) and I have received some very nice suites as upgrades.

I was upgraded as a MR GLD at the Le Merigot in the spring - and do not expect Ocean Front more partial Ocean View. Have never stayed at the REN NYC - but have had great success at other NYC properties.
