How long before Marriott Visa Reward points post?

How long before Marriott Visa Reward points post?
I see that on my account that my points always have a post date of the 28th of the month. I never paid attention when they actually showed up. Now, I actually need the points and suddenly care.
No points have shown up for May 28th yet. I had a fairly large charge on the past month's bill. And now that I need those points, I need them to post.
Anyone have an idea when they actually show up? Is it on the date shown and I have a problem, or does it show up later with the close of the billing date?

My points also show post dates of the 28th and my May points have not posted. I think they normally post a week after the statement closes, but I'm not positive.

Its typically 6-10 business days. However a quick call to the Marriott Service line can get them posted int two to three days with a reciept.
