MOD: Could we get a sticky? (and a fix to the thread title "Lounges"

I was just at the Orlando Downtown Marriott last weekend, and the lounge was definitely open. The attendant indicated that the GM made the decision to open the lounge on weekends a month or two earlier. Also, the evening snacks were WELL above average, very nice presentation. Kudos to those properties that are bringing back the lounge service of years gone by. :) ^

Making this valuable thread a "sticky" is a very good idea, so I'm doing it!

Ohio Columbus North Closed

Renaissance Tampa Hotel International Plaza--closed, coupons for plats, not sure about golds;

Renaissance Vinoy--no lounge, but breakfast coupons for plats; free appetizers for all in bar;

Baltimore Waterfront Marriott--sometimes open, sometimes closed. When open this is one of Marriott's finest concierge lounges;

Rihga Royal--no lounge, but breakfast coupons. Some posters say coupon limited to breakfast for one person, others say coupons good for two. Soon it won't matter as property is being sold.

Paris Marriott Hotel Champs Elysees--No lounge as far as I know (prior poster indicated closed, but hotel indicates no lounge.) Posters mention coupons.

Washington Marriott--closed whenever I've been there; one poster mentions this varies depending on weekend.

Atlanta Marriott Suites--no lounge (I don't think any of the Marriott Suites locations have a lounge). Coupons for plats. Don't know about golds.

Can we expand the chart to include whether or not the lounge is open during the day, or whether it's the std 6ish-10ish and 4ish-10ish?

If so I'll post the entries I know offhand. Oh, and a couple of other entries I've thought of...

Provo Marriott -- no weekends, haven't tried for coupons, but I bet you could get them, they're so nice to Plats

Las Vegas Suites -- no lounge, but FULL breakfast buffet or any breakfast entree every day

Renaissance Times Square New York City No Lounge, full comp. breakfast in restaurant during the week (very nice spread). Not sure about weekends.

Manhattan Beach Marriott Closed on the weekends(however it has an excellent lounge)

LAX Airport Marriott Closed on the weekends
MIA Airport Marriott Closed on the weekends
Baltimore Inner Harbor Marriott Open on some weekends

One note, the lounge at the New Orleans Marriott has awesome muffins.

Updated to reflect everyone's contribution (See Page 1 First Post)

It really is interesting to see that in some markets...two hotels within walking distance may have different weekend policies!

Anyone else have any experiences?

Nice job Jonathan. I'm sure you're not the only one factoring in the lounge/coupon policy in deciding where to stay. Indeed, I wonder if Chris is reading this thread, and if he might suggest to Marriott that it would be very valuable for us if the website for each location mentioned the weekend lounge policy.

NYC Marriott Marquis closed some weekends and not others depends on what convetions are at the hotel.

Chicago Marriott @ Magnificent Mile Closed

West Virginian Marriott @ Town Center Closed
(great property with really nice staff, plus the restaurant turns out great food)

Detroit Marriott Downtown Closed

Thanks...one of the other benefits to this thread is (if search is working) you will also come up with the comments regarding the property (excellent staff / Awesome lounge / etc.)
