Can I transfer MR into my sons Southwest Airlines account even though
he is not on my account or do all transfers have to be with the member
just like AMEX MR?

go to the amex board for an interesting story from a guy who just topped off his 2 kids USAir accounts from his amex MR account. didn't think you could do that unless the kids were additional cardholders on his acct.

When redeeming your Marriott Reward points for SW miles, the transfer can only happen from the member's account to the member's ff account.
