Lounge Closed on Weekends = Free Breakfast
If I stay at a Marriot that does not have a lounge, I get a free breakfast coupon.
But if I stay at a Marriott that has it lounge closed for weekend, I get nothing.
Is that correct or should I go to desk and ask for coupon?

My experience has been 50-50 on this. You can ask - may not get however.
Technically, you are not entitled to it.

I stayed at the Marriott Chattanooga (Tennessee) this past weekend on a Breakfast rate over the weekend. Upon check in, the check in agent told me that the Concierge Room would be closed over the weekend. She lowered my rate to a standard rate (not including breakfast) and gave me 2 coupons for free breakfast for each day.

The rules specifically do not require being comped to breakfast over the weekend if the lounge is closed. Each property apparently decides on their own. In D.C., the Renaissance Mayflower give plats a coupon for a continental breakfast and then allows use of the coupon for any breakfast on the menu, including the full breakfast buffet; but the Washington Marriott provides nothing. Hint to management of the Marriott: Guess where the plats tend to stay on the weekend???

Here are the term of this benefit:

If a participating property does not operate a Lounge, or if the Lounge is closed, the guest is entitled to receive a free Healthy Start Breakfast Monday through Friday. Resorts are excluded. For a complete list of Resorts logon to marriott.com.

When I checked into this Marriott tonight, the Platinum welcome card included with my key states: "Our Concierge Lounge is located on the 15th floor and is open Sunday evenings through Friday mornings each week. Please join us in 2 Rivers Grille on Saturday and Sunday mornings for your complimentary breakfast."
It is nice to see although I have no reason to be here on a weekend. It would be great if all Marriotts did that.
