what to do--wait for Marriott or book with expedia ??
We know that we will be in Curacao in March as we are combining business and pleasure and have booked the Marriott there for 3 nights using rewards, but cannot book the other 4 that we need. On the Marriott website trying to book those nights paying for them it will only allow us to book a standard room with no changes or no refunds for cancellation. When I try expedia though I can book those same nights oceanview with a $25 cancellation fee if I should need it (hoping to book with rewards eventually). Has this happened to anyone else?? If I book with expedia I don't get reward points or any benefits with Marriott, but I am assured of a room. Any suggestions??

Why not try them before going to expedia?
We'll be traveling to Curacao next week; my personal experience w/them is that they're very responsive and you've got nothing to lose.
