Is there anyway to transfer points between competitors?

Is there anyway to transfer points between competitors?
First off this site will help me a whole lot in the future! I am a consultant and spend 47 weeks a year on the road so rewards and loyalty programs have a lot of importance to me. I know someone must have run into this in the past and hopefully there is a way to do this. I have roughly 23,000 Marriott points that I would love to transfer to Starwood points. I am Plat with both but hate the Marriott loyalty program. I have some vaccation in Hawaii coming up and wish to stay in a Sheraton.

I am going to move this post over to the Marriott Forum, They shoudl be able to help you better - I don't think you have many options (without loosing a lot of points)

Thanks for the move. I dont mind losing some of my Marriott points. I detest staying with them now. Which is no good because on the average year I PAY to stay in a hotel 188 nights a year and do my personal travel on rewards and points.

If I've got this right:
21k Marriott points = 7k AA points
6k AA points = 6k Diners Club points
6K Diners = 2250 *Wood
In other words, why bother?
