15K here
I'm getting 15K for 7 nights. The base offer for those who join Marriott Rewards was 10K for 7 nights.

I have been silver for 3 years. When I first logged in to the Mega Bonus promotion, it said I needed to stay 10 nights for 10,000 points. Then when I checked it several times on line in March and April, it said that I would get 20,000 points by meeting the challenge. Well, I just completed my 10 nights and logged in to see if my last nights were credited. They were, but no Mega Bonus points were credited. And now it says, my bonus will be 15,000 points - not the 20,000 points it's stated for weeks. What's up with that? Why do they change the award now?

What I'm curious to know is if the MegaBonus will post automatically if I have to manually submit a missing stay for the 7th and final night. It's only been 10 days and so you never know as that stay may still post, but I'm a little afraid that if I have to fax in my hotel bill it'll screw up the promo somehow. Is that an unreasonable fear? It seems there's always at least one stay that doesn't post by itself and this has always been one of my only pet peeves with MR.

I've had to go back twice so far on missing stays, and they always check it out on the spot (they call the hotel, where I'm known by name
) and the deal is done.I'm sitting on another missing stay - I give them a couple of weeks and, if it doesn't show up, I call. The fax deal seems to go into a black hole - Ive had much better luck calling.
Re the hotel bill (folio). Heck nobody get their rooms as cheap as I do (I even beat Priceline, when you add in all the fees) and they have no problem in giving me the points and bonii. But, as I stated above, rather than fax it in I'd call directly.

After reading this thread, I went to the Marriott Rewards site and logged in, and lo and behold, MY MegaBonus offer has now changed too!
It had been 15 nights for 35k bonus.
Now it shows 7 nights for 15k bonus.
No bonus has yet been credited, and the 15th night is being completed tonight, so I am at least hopeful that the correct bonus will be applied (otherwise, I assume I'd have gotten the bonus already.)
Definitely need to keep an eye on this one.

Mine changed too. Same number of nights but 5,000 points less. Hope I still have the original printout.

I was offered the 10,000 points for 7 nights. I completed my 7th night earlier this month and the 10,000 points posted right about the same time as my stay credit.
I just took a look at my account and clicked on the MegaBonus promotion link for fun. It now says 15,000 points for 7 nights. I then flipped back to look at my account to see if I got 10K or 15K. My account showed 10K. Then I flipped back to the mega bonus page and it now says 10 nights for 20,000 points.
Perhaps once you have reached your threshold, they then raise the bar and see if you will try to cram in more nights with just a few weeks left in the promotion.

Has anyone here have had this happen? If you were to book a room for a co-worker who does NOT have a MR number, do you get the credit for the nights? I have received points and nights for this but I don't know if I'm getting the nights counted towards the Mega Bonus.
Thanks for your response.
