Limits on transferring points to spouse under new plan?

Will there be a limit on how many points spouses can transfer to each other in the new program? SPG did not limit points transfers between spouses, while Marriott has 50,000 annual point transfer limit, except when making a specific redemption, It also charges a $10 fee.

Actually that question has been asked and answered in the Starwood forum and unfortunately Marriott's current policy will prevail with a limit of 50,000 annually (equivalent of 16,667 Starpoints).

it is not just with spouse, it is with anyone. But once you went over the 50K after a transfer, you can't transfer to anyone until next year.
