Checking the source of your marriott status

Is there a way to check the source of your marriott status? I was marriott plat a few years ago and then got a soft landing to gold. The past few years I have remained gold. I know I didn't have enough nights to make gold last year. I'm pretty sure my status is from a soft landing but I have since picked up an amex plat card and am wondering if my status is coming from that, although I'm almost certain I still had gold when I apped for the card. Anyway to check?

How many nights did you stay last year? Did you meet the qualifications last year for gold?

Even though it is silly I always worry doing something like that is going to flag my account. I'm definitely not entitled to gold based on my stays last year and I would rather show as marriott gold based on my marriott account vs showing as matching from a credit card. In the end I'm thinking it may not matter in 2019? Or is there a risk that marriott is going to review all their accounts and on 8/1 if my plat card status isn't linked in I could lose gold based on lack of stays next year, instead of their usual waiting until February to calculate status?
