My understanding is there is some work being done right now associated with trying to align reservation systems for the SPG integration. I believe we'll see similar issues on occasional weekends for a few months...

marriott.com has been the bane of my existence for the last several months
90% of the time, I encounter issues with the site.
* am required to sign in multiple times instead of just once ( this never happened before).
* " Our server is being stubborn, please try again"
* inadvertently kicked into the dark world of marriott.com's meeting planner site,
* when searching for a city from scratch, get a dialogue box where I fill out the name of the city and that's it. No dates or codes options available. Hit Enter. Nothing. Close out. Re-click on Find a Room and the city that I just entered is now -pre-loaded and
the dates options come up ( the screen that should come up after the first click.
* go through a lot more screens after finding my room and wanting to reserve, hit Select and used to see " Booking Confirmed. " Now I hav to go through cold confirm CC info.
Seems like a lot of this started happening when they merged the system with Starwood. But there's no end in sight. I call my Ambassador line and ask " Am I alone in this?" and they say " No, we get a lot of calls every night."
I love Marriott, have spent 3000+ nights, yada yada... never been so frustrated. It triples the amount of time I spend on the site. If anyone has any insight, I'd sure appreciate it. ( on anything, not just this issue....)
