Do Virtuoso stays include Marriott points?

Do Virtuoso stays include Marriott points?
i recently connected with a Virtuoso travel advisor for the first time. She made a Waldorf Astoria reservation and a Ritz Carlton reservation for me. I provided her my Hilton Honors and Marriott account numbers.
After my Waldorf Astoria stay, I received full Hilton Honors points with no problem. However, that was not the case with my Ritz reservation. I received only some of the Marriott points that I was due. So I called the Marriott Platinum line, and I was transferred to another person. She said a mistake was made and I should not have received any Marriott points. I repeatedly told her that this was a Virtuoso stay and I should receive full points. I asked her several times if she was familiar with Virtuoso, but she would never answer me. She finally gave me all the points I earned but she also said that this was a one time special gift to me.
I contacted my Virtuoso advisor about this incident, and she said she makes the reservations directly with her contact point at the hotel. She said she has never had a problem before.

Sounds like a one time issue. Any time I have provided my Marriott number I get the points.
