Email Spam from Marriott Rewards?
What's going on here? I received 8 IDENTICAL emails from [email protected] with the title "Exclusive offer inside" in the past hour. Is this a bit too much? I feel that this is a PR disaster for Marriott!

Ugh, I got 5 so far when my phone just buzzing all the time. Looks like I'll see another 3 coming soon.

This is getting out of control. I already clicked "unsubscribe", and opted out of all email communications, but five minutes later, I still receive four more identical emails, and three of them came in at exactly 3:49PM! I am getting angry now. I will block Marriott in Gmail temporarily.

Now I'm feeling neglected because I got nothing.
It's obviously a technical error. I don't think they're trying to spam the crap out of you on purpose. Unsubscribe if you really have no interest, but I wouldn't unsubscribe simply because of this error.

Unsubscribing is usually not instantaneously effective. And yes, about 8-10 emails here so far. Waiting for the apology with 10k points in compensation for the inconvenience

What if it's not from Marriott but instead a phishing attempt to steal your now unsecured information? Unsubscribing may just be what it wants you to do.

I don't think it is phishing, as it is from [email protected]. I hope this is not a phishing email address
