Marriott and Upromise

It's great that Marriott joined Upromise with a 5% cash back and it has caused me to up my stays. The only problem, they don't appear to ever credit you for making online reservations through Upromise which guides you to the Marriott home page. I have stays completed over 90 days ago that have not posted even as pending. When you contact Upromise, they ask for the date you made the reservation (I don't track that sorry), the date of stay and the total bill. Marriott needs to find a better way of ensuring purchases are credited in a timely fashion because under the current system they might as well not be part of the program. I would not advise anyone to change their staying patterns based on Marriott and its Upromise relationship.

Welcome to FlyerTalk.

Marriott sends out an email when a reservation is made. Find the email, and you have the date the reservation was made.
