Should I be Silver?
When I linked my Marriott and Starwood accounts last fall my status was listed as Silver, due to my SPG AmEx card I presume. (I had no stays with other than the ones give with the card). I just logged in to MR and noticed that my status says member. Should this be Silver? I still have the SPG AmEx. I realize silver is no big deal, but I would like to get the 20% bonus on my upcoming stays. Thanks.

My SPG Gold status ended March 1st, but was renewed by American Express. My Marriott Gold was likewise reduced to Silver but was returned to Gold just yesterday.

So how long should I wait for this "glitch that has been fixed" to show up in my account? I tried using the contact us link from my MR account yesterday and have heard nothing, not even a e-mail saying they received my e-mail. Should I be calling the MR customer service number or waiting a few days? If it matters, my next stay is scheduled for next Friday.

I don't know if you should contact Amex or if you would receive faster service contacting Marriott or even SPG. So I would contact all three and increase my chances of getting this fixed before your next stay.
