M Club Marriott Georgetown, D.C.

The new M Club opened last Monday at 6am, Jan 9th. It is an incredible lounge with awesome food choices now. So many beverage choices. The staff is still great with 'Top of the Morning' Valerie still running the breakfast show.

FYI, new gym and rooms as well. Room renovations make this my new number 1 in D.C., yes, passing the JW and Marquis. The JW location is still the best.

I was there a few weeks ago. Super nice stay. I received coupons for drinks and appetizers and breakfast as the M Club was not yet completed. I LOVED the workout options and would stay there again based just on that alone.

Is the M lounge open on the weekend - and what I mean by that, does it serve brekkie on the Sat & Sun & also evening appetizers on Fri & Sat nights?

Cheers.

Yes, it does do service 7 days a week. I've stayed there 6-7 times since January, most recently this month. It's one of the better domestic M Club or concierge lounges. For what it's worth, the evening service used to have an artisan or gourmet (whatever marketing term you prefer) cheese board . By that I mean they had two or three varieties. Now, they just had the standard cheese cubes -- yellow and white. Also, the self-serve automated wine machine is fancy but the prices are absurd. Like some of the glasses are $18, more than the lobby bar or the bars and restaurants in the nearby Georgetown and Dupont Circle areas.
