Why would you take fourth-hand information from an unverified and unofficial source over the official published response?

The language on the Marriott side suggests something might be possible:

"Crossover RewardsTM with Delta SkyMiles will continue through July 15, 2018, with all current benefits being honored through that date. We expect to have more to share on this program shortly."

On the other hand, the Delta site is pretty definitive:

CROSSOVER REWARDS PROGRAM ENDING ON JULY 15, 2018

Thanks for finding that.

But your Delta "link" doesn't work (because it's a javascript link that only works when you are on the right web page).

You have to go to this site first:

https://www.delta.com/content/www/en...ards-faqs.html

and then it's the first FAQ to expand there.

They (Marriott) say Plat Premier will get the status match to United and no changes "at this time"). There is no word on whether or not Marriott/UA will continue RewardsPlus into the 2019 program year for both programs.

The fact that the language on Crossover Rewards is still essentially "more to come" and SPG is apparently still emailing about it is an indicator to me that Crossover Rewards or some crossover status with Delta is not unquestionably dead forever. It could be that it dies July 15th (as SPG IT is folded over to the MR program) and then Delta comes back with matching status in MR for elites of a certain level in the combined program.
