Room Request Prior to Checking IN
We have an upcoming stay scheduled for Marriott Frenchman's Reef and attempted to make a room request but were told to call back the day before our arrival. Is there any other way to make a room request or is this standard procedure?

Call the PP desk; tell them about the situation and the hotel's response; ask them to take care of it.

Are your requesting some specialized room type or something special to be present in your room? Many properties assign rooms the day before or morning of arrival, when they know their availability for sure. Requests for something to be placed in the room should be noted by the concierge staff, but you might have better success if you remind them soon before your arrival.

When is your stay? I think I still have contact info for the front desk manager and pre-arrival coordinator who were extremely helpful for my previous stays there.
