Boscolo Hotels
Does it make a difference for upgrades if you book using either a Marriott or a Boscolo membership number?

As a Gold I've had excellent suite upgrades at Boscolo Budapest, booked via MR using my MR#

Can't help as I don't have a Boscolo membership number (as I suspect is the case for most on this forum), but using my MR number, have received excellent upgrades at both Budapest and Prague.

Exactly what I would say. They seem to treat Marriott elite members way better than "normal" Marriott properties do on average.
