Platinum Line

Is there a special number for platinum's to call? I am calling the guest services number on the back of my platinum card but it appears to be just normal customer service. I am trying to get points added for a closed lounge and I called the same number before and they were able to help. Now they want to transfer me to customer service, and customer service says that the hotel will contact me. It is like pulling teeth.

Marriott Rewards customer service is the right place to start. In my experience (situations like yours), they will call the hotel to have them add the points. If they need to, the hotel will call you directly. Sometimes it works great and the points post in 24 hours or less.

Other times, you end up making multiple phone calls, and it is extremely aggravating, and the points (usually) post a week later.

This is my biggest complaint about the MR program.

Good luck and try to be patient.

I always call the Plat ressie line & have them transfer me to MRCS. That way I avoid the phone tree.

Cheers.
