2000 Nights?
I am at 1986 nights to go till I hit 2000 Marriott nights. Does anything happen at 2000 nights? What should I expect in a full service hotel if anything?
Thanks in advance.

i guess Marriott Rewards is not the best program for recognition
i've heard many good things about SPG for rewarding frequent stayers, GMs doing gestures after 10, 20, 50 stays at the same place...
sometimes you may be happy with the hotel chain you are staying with for the excellent service it provides but it doesn't mean they excel in developing and maintaining the same level for their loyalty program

So you've stayed 14 nights and you're worrying about what happens after 1986 additional nights? This seems to assume that both you and MR will both be alive in an additional five years.

if you are happy with the hotels you stay with and happy with their program, fine
once you've become a high-contribution customer, it is hard to expect more than how the program is designed
i guess that they've never imagined that someone would stay more than a number of times as world travelers usually switch hotel brands depending on locations
you should probably send an email to your program to ask what happens when you reach this new record
