What is the highest rate you have ever seen listed on the back of the door in any Marriott Brand hotel room?
The highest I have seen is $999 for a regular room and $3500 for a suite.

Marriott: $750; Not Marriott: $9000
$370 (room)/$750 (suite): Marriott IAD

$400: Marriott Suites Herndon

Not Marriott:
$5000: Hilton Santa Fe Buffalo Thunder

$4000 (room) / $9000 (suite): DoubleTree Times Square

However, these are the ones that I found in my online with a quick search. Your prices may vary.
(now where are those other back of the door photos...)

Not-Marriott: Still $9000
I guess I missed taking shots of backs of doors at MI's. Anyway, here's the DT TS in a little more contrast:

Hyatt:
$1000: Hyatt Regency New Orleans

I think you're definitely on to something here.
Just - I have to wonder how long and how much of a commitment it would take for all of the members of FT to cover all of the hotels (that are worth traveling to -- don't bother with that Super-8 by the Airport for $34/night)...
