even if you make the reward res for your 20-yr old son I haven't checked into a prop that hasn't also required a CC, for incidentals, damage, etc, so does your son have a CC? if not, perhaps you should contact the prop and they can FAX you the form for you to guarantee these extras under your CC.........

Booking A Reward Stay For My Son
I know you can call Marriott and book a reward stay in another persons name but one time I just added the persons name I was booking it for in the reservation under my name in the space for company name.
Has anyone else tried this ? It's easier than calling but I want to make sure it will work
Thanks

I have made a reservation for my 18 yr old daughter without any problems.
But, if they don't have a CC in their name, you will need to fax an authorization form in with your CC #.

I think, like everything else, this is going to vary by location. I have made reservations for others over the phone, simply providing my credit card number verbally and authorizing it to be used for incidentals, as well as the room charges, and the people staying in the room were not required to provide a card upon check-in. Best advice is to call the hotel and ask for the easiest way to do this.
