Transfer of FF Miles
We are planning to attempt to book five business class tickets from London to Hawaii for a special family holiday next year. Whilst I appreciate this will be difficult, American Airlines (London) have said it maybe possible as we can give them a big window when we wish to travel. I will be transferring points from my Marriott rewards account using several hotel/FF packages. However, I do not want to transfer the miles and find I cannot obtain the booking. AA will hold any bookings made for 14 days; how long does it take Marriott to transfer the miles or can I pay for a quick transfer.

You can pay an expedite fee to Marriott. I don't know how much that is currently. Last August I transferred from a package to AA and they showed up in 7 days without an expedite fee, but you can't count on that happening. If you know for sure that you are using AA, transfer now, call later. Good luck with getting that many seats.

Does anyone know what the expedite fee is, and how long it takes for the miles to transfer? I need miles in my BA account by Wednesday.

The fee to expedite mileage is $15.00 however, there are some airlines that do not participate in the express option. British Airways is one of them. BA's delivery time is within 1 week. If you would like to transfer miles, I would recommend contacting Marriott Guest Services directly.
Thanks!

I'm happy to report that even without expedited service, my miles appeared in 48 hours, in time to ticket my award. Thank you, Marriott.
