Gathering information
Hello everyone,
Please post if you are a Rewards member and use this board as a resource related to Marriott Hotels and Marriott Rewards. How would you feel if Marriott were to bring on an official representative to Flyertalk?
Thank you!

Welcome to FT.
I think you look at the majority of posters on this forum, they are elite members of MR and they do discuss the MR program.
As for having an "offical" MR person on this board, I'd be for it. HY has one and she's a very big asset.

I agree that an "official representative" would be a benefit.

I think an official Marriott rep would be dandy. Tell Marsha S to find us a good one!

(and if this thread is being viewed by Marriott Mgmt--I would like to suggest a return of the "double/double" promo for one quarter).
edited to lobby for double/double

One can only hope that Marriott can find somebody like William, the Starwood Lurker, who has become an integral part of the community on that board.

It would be great to have a Marriott Rep "lurking" about.

As a Marriott Platinum, I've always felt that the Starwood Lurker demonstrated Starwood's concern for its elites, and that Marriott's lack of an official lurker said something also. I personally would feel that the presence of an official Marriott lurker would be of great benefit.

As a platinum member of the MR, I think that a official representative would be a great asset.
As others have mentioned, the 'Starwood Lurker' has been a great help to the their elite status members. I would hope that Marriott would provide the same type of help if they decide to provide representation here.

I'm a MR Platinum and I peruse this board regularly. There is at least one Marriott employee who particpates in this fourm of their own accord and is a great help and source of information.
If someone is designated as an official representative, then I am all for it. The
Starwood forum has official representation and is so much the better because of it.

Add me to the list of MP Platinum who would be all for an "official" rep. The unofficial one now does as great a job as possible, but as others have said Starwood is light years ahead because William is an official rep! Please make it happen!!!
