Anyone with the Marriott Visa have experience with purchasing these and getting the 3 points per dollar spent? Also, any recent problems with using these for hotel stays?
Thanks.

If you plan on express check-out, I probably would not use them. I also seem to remember that they were not good for everything, i.e. restaurants, gift shops, etc, but I'm really not sure about which.

I have bought these before and did not get 3 points per dollar as I was hoping. i did contact Bank One and the person called me back saying that this purchase is not eligible for 3 points per dollar. Maybe you will get lucky.

No such luck. I bought $3k worth and got the 1 point per dollar....drat! I wonder if I could have bought them at a property and put them on my room. Might try that at some point in the future.
