We stayed here 2 nights at the end of August.
It was a nice clean hotel, situated along side the freeway, easy access to DT San Diego, Hill Crest and the Airport. Two large shopping centers just across the freeway.
They charge for parking, but plenty of free parking on the street in front of hotel.
As a Hilton Gold, they offer a welcome gift, upgrade to larger room and Free continental breakfast or $5.00 off per person for breakfast items from the menu.
The restaurant could use some improvement.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Marvella.

From my experience at the property, the comments made about the Hilton would apply to the Marriott as well. I only had breakfast at the MV Marriott but the restaurant seemed pretty good.
Are these hotels THAT generic?
