SD Cat 4 Hotels
Which of the San Diego Cat 4 hotels would you recommend for a one night burn of my X-14?
I need to burn six of them and have figured out where to burn them all except my SD trip next weekend
Edited to clarify San Diego... lol

I assume you mean San Diego and not South Dakota.
If so, I burned one of my Cat 4 coupons at the Mission Valley Marriott. Although it is somewhat inland, it is at the junction of the 8 and 805 freeways so you can get to places in the area fairly quickly. The hotel itself is to the typical Marriott standard.

TrojanHorse,
I'll be in SAN next weekend using up my X14's also. The best property that I could find for X14's was the Courtyard in Carlsbad (about 25 miles north of the city center).
Are you going to the dinner there Saturday night?

Bill, was this due to a lack of availability or was it that you just thought these were the best places available?
thanx

The Carlsbad Courtyard is the only Category 1-4 property that is available for an award stay in the SAN area for next weekend.
Also, we plan on going up to Temecula to visit some wineries while there. Carlsbad is on the way and yet isn't too far from SAN.

It turns out that there is availability for an X-14 award stay in SAN on next Sunday night. I was able to change my plans around a bit and now in San Diego for the entire weekend.
