I am booked on the TZO in Philly next week.

Pretty good deal to get a voucher of 50$. Now to the question, whats the cheapest hotel in the northeast that qualifies for this promotion? Philly Marriott Rate was 99$

What is the TZO rate and how do you get it? Does it qualify for MR credit?

No voucher with the TZO rate, you only get it with the N8R rate code. If you do get a voucher with a TZO rate, then the hotel made a mistake by giving it to you.

However, you may be able to use an N8R voucher ($50 or $100 voucher) that you had previously received from a hotel stay that had been booked with an N8R rate for some other stay at a hotel that you had booked at a TZO rate.

I had asked Marriott when this program started just this question: what rates can one use the certificates with, and which hotels can one use them at, since most of the hotels are Marriotts, but some are not. Did that mean that all Marriotts worldwide participate, or a smaller set; did all Renaissances?; Courtyards, etc?

Unfortunately, I never received a definitive answer as I believe that the Marriott promo people had not thought this thing completely through.

I would considere it a safe bet that all Marriotts participitae, but again, the hotel rates that you can apply these certs towards apparently has not been sufficiently detailed.

Remember that to USE the N8R vouchers, you must have at least a 2-day stay. (Earning them requires no such minimum.)

I have one 50$ bonus buck coupon and I wonder if I can use that on any rate booked on www.marriott.com?

It only says its valid for all publicly listed and available room rates. Does this also include the TVL rate? The TVL rate is possible to book online and I found a nice hotel in the middle east where this 50$ would mean stay two nights and pay for one

I doubt it can be used on TVL. I asked about this when I was a Marriott associate staying on the associate rate and was told that it was not valid.
