This is why I prefer to stay at FS Marriotts. Yes, I know, you can get bedbugs anywhere. However, I think you would see better and faster remediation of such a problem at a FS where the clientele are much more likely to flip out (i.e., me
If it were me, I probably would have thrown the entire suitcase in the garbage (at the hotel), clothes and all, stripped naked in my driveway when I got home, jumped in my pond, and then ran home. Seriously. Not worth the risk IMO. It can costs thousands and thousands to get rid of bedbugs from your home, not to mention the physical/emotional/mental toll.

Bed bugs
Hi everyone, so I hate having to do this but I was staying at a SHS somewhere in the mid-South, and when I got home that night I noticed I had several itchy bumps on various parts of my body. The next day I had even more. I got myself to an urgent care, where the NP said I most likely had been bitten by a bunch of bed bugs.
I called the hotel and told them about it, and the manager promised to look into it. I recently got a call from someone in corporate who said they sent some exterminators to examine the room and they found no bed bugs.
So... Has anyone else had an experience with this, and might corporate be trying to dodge responsibility? Or should I take them at their word that there weren't any bed bugs in my room?
Thanks in advance!
