I have an award stay upcoming at the Courtyard in Foxborough. It claims to be recently renovated - curious if this is to the "new-style" Courtyard look? Any comments from recent stays, including dining options at or nearby the hotel, would be much appreciated.

I have stayed there twice this year. I am not sure what "new-style" Courtyard is but it looks like any other Courtyard to me, including the rooms. It has high speed internet access in each room and they were talking of getting wireless access for the lobby (although they did not have it in late March). They have the usual breakfast buffet and the late-night lounge. The two nearest restaurants are the Piccadilly Pub and the 99, also pub fare. I think the 99 is a little better although neither is anything to write home about. The best restaurants in the greater area are the Lafeyette House, near the old Pats stadium, and Tom's Tavern, in Wrentham (I think), with twin lobsters tails for ~$27. E-mail me if you want more info.
