missing stays not posting
Has anyone here had experience where manually submitted missing stays do not show up on Marriott Rewards website? It's been two weeks since the points posted to account as I've verified that by phone, but nothing yet on web. Just a glitch? BTW MR said is a chance may never post to the web.

I have had the same problem for two months now and after 5 phone calls and three CSR's it was finally fixed (at least for now). I would call and bug them again.

A stay I had in mid March did not post. I faxed in the receipt the first of April. A couple of days later the points balance increased and the nights stayed increased. Still no line item entry. CS says it sometimes takes a while for that to be added.

After a stay in early Feb. had not posted by late Feb., I wrote a letter, and the missing stay posted a couple of weeks later. The weird thing was, the line item had the wrong location (RI La Jolla vs. RI Philly airport). I figured it was a harmless typo.
Then, a couple of weeks after that, the original stay posted with the correct location. (But the wrong location for those dates remained.)
I don't know if they'll catch it -- it was 6 nights, and it might make the difference for making Gold this year for me.
I might feel a little guilty if that happened...but not too much, since it was their fault.

I had two stays that did not post. I faxed in two letters and nobody responded. I then wrote a regular letter and mailed it. Nothing. The two stays were important to me since I was just under Platinum status. I checked into a Hotel in January and presto No Platinum gift. I later received a Survey in the mail. I cited that I expected to be Platinum and would no longer be staying at Marriott. I'm a meeting planner and reminded them I spent 75K with Marriott last year alone. Wow! Got a call from a special rep and she gave me 10,000 points and Platinum status. Marriott still loses since in the meantime, I shifted my meeting to Starwood. Kind of late for Marriott. Got my points, but I'm now splitting the business between the two chains. What upsets me about Marriott is that they don't respond to your correspondence until the customer is really upset. Pretty bad service if you ask me.

ChicAAgo: I have found phone calls to be more effective.
My missing stay in the above post is now listed line by line.
