Socrates, please help!! Looking for an e-mail address!

Hi Socrates!

Could you please tell me the e-mail addresses for the GM and the Reservations Supervisor for the London Marble Arch hotel? My parents will be staying there for their 30th Anniversary and I was hoping to put in a request for a bottle of wine or something. Thanks!

You could fax as well. That's what I did when at Grosvenor Square one time. Called (call is only a minute so not expensive) to get correct contact names, wrote & faxed a letter.

Based on the legend socrates helped create in this thread, it would appear that the address would be [email protected] for the General Manager, [email protected] for the Front Desk Manager, and [email protected] for the Sales and Marketing Manager at that property.

Hope this helps!

Unfortunately this is a franchise (Whitebread PLC) and it appears as though they do not have an email address in our system...as someone suggested above I would try faxing Rohan Karr (GM) at 011-44-870-4007355; sorry I wasn't able to assist

This is a little off the post, but is there a reason you/they picked Marble Arch? There's a new Marriott around the corner (which weirdly enough is closer to Marble Arch) that's quite nice. Also nearby is Grosvenor Square, which is also quite nice.

Your parents are going to have to hike a bit to get to somewhere (not outrageously so) at MA. Marble Arch is a basic bizness Marriott; nothing fancy. Also, not sure how much of the central tube line is open (see FT London for more details re: the closure), so unless they're walkers they're going to be cabbing it everywhere. And watch out for the local phone unit charges there; they're outrageous.

When I was celebrating a birthday while at Grosvenor, I mentioned it in a fax prior to arrival (fax actually had to do w/ something else) & I got wine, flower, chocolates. That might have been a combo of what I was faxing about coupled w/ my birthday.

Hope your parents enjoy. Cheers.

Well to be honest, they were choosing between the Marble Arch and Park Lane hotels. The Park Lane being a 5-star brand new hotel, which appears to be pretty nice. They decided to go with the Marble Arch because my parents, who are in their late 50s-mid 60s wanted a place that had a jacuzzi and Park Lane doesn't have one. I'll pass on the information to them about location, etc. Thanks for the input.

If they can change it, definitely go for the Park Lane over the Marble Arch even w/o the jacuzzi (unless they really really really want the jacuzzi).
