I stayed at the RC Key Biscayne for a long weekend in December 2002. The hotel is brand new (I think open since 2001 or so). We went for a cheaper, non-ocean view room and it was quite nice. At that time (Dec.), we looked over the front entrance which was decorated for Xmas. It also had a balcony, so it was fun to sit outside in the morning and drink coffee. If I were staying for more than a long weekend, I'd splurge for ocean view. Also, given that food is on the pricier side, I'd go for the Club floor, as it would probably pay for itself over time. The beach was nice and clean (although I prefer W. Fla beaches more). The pool butlers who escort you to your chair and arrange your towel in an ergonomic fashion for your neck were a nice touch. We liked the spa very much. Interesting and wide variety of treatments including the not-to-be-missed Thai massage. I'd go back again just for that experience. Food at Aria and room service were above expectations. I would rent a car, too, if you are staying awhile. It is a bit of a drive over a causeway to get back to Miami proper. Also, try Azul at the Mandarin Oriental for a really nice dinner, if you do decide to leave the RC. I liked the hotel very much and would go back if I couldn't get to Hawaii or the Caribbean but wanted a really good experience. I don't think you could go wrong here.

HOw much was the Thai Massage?
Was it a Thai who did it?
I went to the Wat(temple) in BKK, where it is taught for about $7.00. It was not the best, but it worked anyway!
