Boulder Marriott

How is this property? How does it compare to the Omni Interlocken or the Westin Westminster?

The Omni is a beautiful new hotel but not walking distance to virtually anything. The Marriott is an older hotel than the Omni but not "old". The great thing about the Marriott is location location location. It is central to everything, numerous shops restaurants and CU, are all within an easy walk.

The Westin is even newer than the Omni - a great facility, but even further from Boulder. If you want to be in town, able to walk where you want, Marriott is the only option of the three.

I agree with the others. A lot of the point of Boulder is that it is so friendly to pedestrians in the downtown area. If you stay at Omni or Westin, you are missing the point of being able to just walk around everywhere. That said, if you don't mind being car dependent, the other hotels should be nicer.

We stayed at the Marriott last summer on vacation. It's a small hotel, but nice. There's a very nice upgraded room (the only one in the whole property we figured out from looking at the building and the floor plans) with a full-sized private roof-top patio available (and it included concierge-lounge access. If you stay there, I'd angle for it as an elite or "how much would it cost for me to upgrade to....." upgrade. A superb spot to relax and read your paper on a sunny fall morning.

(edited to make it clear which hotel I was describing)
