Converting miles to MR points

Converting miles to MR points
I have sum of miles with all major Airlines and need more MR points than I current have. Questions here are:
(1) Can I convert miles from any mile program and how?
(2) Can I make reservation first? Keeping making more MR points(have travles coming), then request cert later(prior the actual award stay)?

1) You can convert UA or AA miles to Marriott Rewards through Diners Club, you would get .6 MR points for each mile ... not a great rate, but if you really do have tons of miles on either airline and need the points more, its doable. If you don't have a Diners Club card and decide to get one to do this, I'd be more than happy to refer you (so that I get a nice little bonus

How about transfering Delta miles to Marriott rewards? can it be done?
