Points for Planning a Meeting
I know that there is a program for awarding MR points if one does the meeting planning thing. The question is: do you have to request the points and have it noted in the contract or the hotel ask for my MR account for crediting. This may seem like a strange question, but this is how I would have to go about getting the credit. Work with me on this one

I suggest you do all of the above. I sponsored a reception at SF Marriott in Feb. and it took many months and at least one fax to get the credit. Everyone assured me that my MR number had been entered. Hotel check in, bar tender, etc. Keep documentation and fax it in if necessary.
