Orlando feedback
Does anyone have any impressions, good or bad, about the Marriott Orlando Downtown. The hotel website says it's central and within walking distance to restuarants, etc. But has anyone been there and can expand on it's location for me.

Stayed there several years ago and the L.A. Lakers were staying there for their game with Magic. The arena is just across the street from the hotel. I believe it is a converted Radisson. It is close to downtown, but we always headed somewhere else for fun. Very typical middle of the road Marriott, unless it has changed drastically in the last few years.

I stay here every few weeks and find the rooms large for a basic Marriott; good concierge lounge; good service overall. It's quiet unless there is a big event at the Centroplex and is close to two of my favorite restaurants (Harvey's and Manuel's). It's pretty convenient to about anywhere in Orlando (20 minutes from Disney, 20 minutes from the airport).
