Concierge Lounge/Continental Breakfast
We are going to be in the London County Hall and the Paris Champs E'lysees (sp?) on reward stays. I'm Platinum. Is there a concierge lounge at either of these locations? If not, on a reward stay do you still get a free continental breakfast weekdays? Will I need to show the membership card for this? Thanks for letting me know what to expect in advance.

The Marriott Champs Elysee does not have a concierge lounge. I was there on award about a year ago and received free continental breakfasts for my wife and myself (always did room service).
You just sign the check like you normally would, but it doesn't show up on your bill at check out. I tipped in cash. You might want to verify this upon check-in.
The only problem was that if I had the free breakfast at the hotel, I had to skip my morning pastry from the GREAT patisserie about a block down the Champs.

London County Hall has a concierge lounge and as a Platinum member you have access to it (to open by room key) even on reward stays. You get a free continental breakfast in the morning and snacks in the afternoon on weekdays. Present your Platiunum Card at check, try to get a room with Thames view and make shure they are programing your keys to open the lounge.

The Marriott County Hall definitely has a nice concierge lounge on the 4th floor I believe. We had a Thames view room about 3 doors down from the lounge when we were there last February. I am but lowly Gold and was afforded the lounge access on a reward stay.
The morning concierge at that time was a lovely young lady from Italy named Sandra. She befriended my daughter who would only go to the lounge for breakfast every morning-she was 11 at the time.
So go enjoy, and if you see our friend Sandra, please tell her Lauren from NY says hello.
