Technical Question: Will this count?
My husband will be 1 night short of Platinum status at the end of March. We are staying at a Marriott in March on one of the Reward certs that is for a category 4 hotel on a weekend night (Fall Promo). If we were to bill dinner to the room, pay by VISA the room charges, will this end up counting as a "night" or is it coded so that they will not count it? Just trying to figure out if we need to schedule 1 more night. Thanks.

Reward stays don't count towards status.
Book a cheap Fairfield or TownePlace Room in your hometown for that last night.
