Kauai
Next year have a meeting in Kauai being held at the Hyatt and wondering if I can use points and stay at the Marriott. Does anyone no if the distance is an easy drive or is it too far? Thanks

Much too far, in my opinion. Close to 10 miles, and not the easiest drive.

Bruce is right, but is there really a hard drive in Kauai?

Enjoying the drive over there is the whole idea. By the way - the hyatt there is excellent!

The drive isn't too bad. It takes 20 - 30 minutes max. The key is to turn left when you exit the Marriott towards Nawiliwili harbor and follow that road all the way back around to the highway. One of the nicest things about the Marriott is that it's centrally located on the island at the bottom of the "U".
The Marriott is great and you can't beat "free", but I agree with the comments about the Hyatt. It's superb.

stay at the hyatt you won't ever regret it and you could use those points to stay at the newly renovated marriott on maui if you could extend your trip.the marriottat kauai is near the airport if that matters to you.
